Head Trainer Kim Blanton

My dogs are my family, but in order for me to enjoy them to their fullest and to take advantage of the wonderful Pacific Northwest outdoors, they need to be excellent doggy citizens!

My goal as a dog trainer;

Is to love and respect every dog in my care for who they are, to figure out the best way for them to fit into their family, and to send them home a better version of themselves!

Dog training is not only about getting a dog to do commands, that is just the tip of the iceberg! Dog training at its core is all about relationship and this relationship must be balanced and healthy for both the dogs and the humans! A relationship cannot form unless there is trust and a solid communication system.

  It is really important to me to form meaningful relationships with both my canine and human clients, because these relationships allow everyone to thrive and live their best lives together.

 Training should open the world to your dog and allow you to live a happier, less stressful life together. My motto is freedom through training.

I'm looking forward to helping you have a better relationship with your dog!

Trainer/Decoy Damian Blanton

I'm well-acquainted with hard work, having spent years in factories and running a paint shop. My passion for dogs has always been strong, but it was my wife Kim who encouraged me to pursue it as a career. I began by offering in-home dog training lessons, where I learned the importance of effective communication with owners to meet their training objectives. After a couple of years, I transitioned to board and train services. Observing my wife's involvement in protection sports, we noticed a shortage of decoys in our area. To support her ambitions, I enrolled in the Tar Heel Master course for six months, gaining expertise in police dog training, protection dog training, tracking, and detection. I'm passionate about educating owners and aspiring dog trainers in the art of dog training, emphasizing the importance of fostering a balanced relationship between owners and their dogs for mutual success.

Assistant Trainer Trinity Blanton

My journey into dog training began when I was around 15 years old and met my sister-in-law, who introduced me to the incredible world of working with dogs. While I had always grown up with dogs, it wasn’t until I got older that I realized I wanted a deeper and more meaningful connection with them. At 16, I got my first job as a kennel tech at a local training and boarding facility. There, I learned the basics of dog training, dog language, and the importance of facility maintenance. At 18, I left that facility and moved to Washington to further my education in dog training. Since then, I’ve gained invaluable experience, from working on behavioral modifications and helping dogs with severe anxiety to training protection dogs.

Today, I have two amazing dogs of my own: a Pitbull Mastiff mix I adopted at 4 months old and a KNPV Dutch Shepherd I brought with me to Washington. Dog training, for me, is more than teaching commands—it’s about creating trust, understanding, and a lifelong bond. I’m passionate about helping others strengthen their relationships with their dogs and creating a harmonious environment where both dogs and their owners thrive.
